We had a great second pool day! We began our day with some fun morning songs at Mesa Trailhead–we sang Fred the Moose and the Squirrel Song. After doing a quick pool orientation in our cabin groups, we headed to Eldo pool for some fun in the sun and water! We sunscreened, filled up our water bottles, and headed into the pool. Campers enjoyed playing in the shallow end, going off the diving board, and going down the slide. Some campers sunbathed in the nice warm sun! After lunch, campers re-sunscreened and did cabin shields; they look amazing! We also made lanyards and friendship bracelets. We had to get out of the pool for about ten minutes due to thunder, but luckily the storm passed and we were able to hop back in! We ended our day with some delicious watermelon for snack, and sang The Canoe Song. Then, we hopped on the bus and headed home! Tomorrow, we’re heading up to Camp Wondervu–see you there!
