See you soon, backpackers! Our group of backpackers left this morning with Jake & Susie, and will be returning tomorrow afternoon from camping and hiking through Rocky Mountain National Park.

Campers were excited to begin their second half of the week activities this morning, some highlights included a new culinary class making pancakes and pizza with Zac & Danny, kayaking with Ellen, sailing with Jackie, as well as theatre, horseback riding, and arts & crafts! Organized Free included swimming at the waterfront his afternoon, and many campers braved the chilly water! Basketball, wiffleball, piano, board games, and card tricks were also open.

One-weekers really enjoyed helping Jenna create their schedules last night, by rating activities at camp to help make sure they can do as many of their top choices as possible. Fishing, hiking, arts & crafts, archery, nature & ecology, and theatre were the some choices, and one-week campers each got their own schedule for today and tomorrow with their favorite activities.

Tonight for Evening Program, we tried a new mix of Organized Free, campfire, and some of our daily activities. We had some night paddling on the lake, a peaceful campfire with Tom where quiet reading and lanyard making were a hit, archery with Daniel, music in the big hall, and games in the lodge. Campers got to try some activities they may not have on their schedules, enjoy the lake at night, and have some relaxing time with friends and cabin mates!
