We started our day with a very short bus ride to the Mesa Trail near Eldorado Canyon. We put on our sunscreen and sang a few songs before playing “Fire in the Jungle” and other variations to get our limbs loosened up! We ate lunch and filled up our waterbottles before heading out on the Mesa Trail. We made it quite far and had a wonderful view of the canyon, the Flatirons, and the plains to the east. We walked back to the bus and headed back to Boulder.
When we returned to Whittier, we made bird beak masks and listened to a few stories about birds. Counselor Max continued the Shockti saga. Tomorrow we head up to camp to climb AND do archery! We are so excited for our fun-filled day tomorrow!
