Camp Granite Lake – Family Camp!

August 11th – 14th, 2022

Enjoy a Camp Granite Lake experience for the whole family! Complete with counselor led activities, delicious CGL food, camp songs and a daily ‘Happy Hour’ for adults (not a part of our regular camp programming 😉 ). Family Camp is a great way disconnect from technology, take in the beautiful Colorado mountains, and enjoy a late summer weekend at camp!

Overview:

When: Gate opens for check in at 4pm on Thursday, August 11th, gate closes for check out at 2pm on Sunday, August 14th. 
Cost: $350/per person includes:

  • All meals from dinner on Thursday through lunch on Sunday,
  • Daily adults-only happy hour (child care provided during this time).
  • A beautiful spot to tent camp or park your camper (room lodging available, please see below!)
  • CGL t-shirts for the whole family.
  • CGL water bottles.
  • Family Photos.
  • All Activities including waterfront, rock climbing, ceramics and more!
  • Children 4 and under free

Meals & Food

We’ll have wonderful family style meals in our beautiful dining tent.  Our chefs will cook up some camp favorites, as well as some specials just for Family Camp!

We can accommodate most diets and allergies, too!

In the late afternoons, we will host adult-only “Happy Hours” with appetizers, light drinks, and great conversation.

Activities:

We’ll offer a variety of activities each day led by Camp Granite Lake Staff!  Families are welcome to float between activities during activity periods!  Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or older family member when at activities.  

Activities Include: 

– Rock Climbing at our crag
– Archery on the range
– Fishing on the lake
– Crafts in the craft tent
– Disc Golf on the course
– Hiking around camp
– Basketball on the court
– Canoeing around the lake
– Swimming at the swim area

Lodging

Lodging Rooms: Looking for something a bit less rustic than camping?  We have a variety of rooms available – some with twin beds and some with queens!  All have their own attached full bathroom.  We will provide all bedding (sheets, blankets and pillows), as well as towels and bathmats! $240/Room for the weekend.  

Camping: We have a variety of beautiful places to pitch your tent!  From rustic walk-in sites, to easily accessible car camping sites.  We’ll have our bathhouse available for showers and restrooms, as well at easily accessible porta-potties throughout camp.

Campers & RVs: Feel free to bring the camper or RV!  Sorry, no electicity or dump stations provided.

Additional Details:

Payment Information: A non-refundable $100/per person installment is required at registration. Full payment due by April 1st.

COVID: All attendees are required to be fully vaccinated (based on age eligibility).  Additional measures may be required depending on community COVID situation at time of Family Camp.  More details will be shared as we get closer to the event.

Supervision: Please note that all familes are responsible for the supervision of their children, unless otherwise notified by CGL staff.  Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling on all activities.

Room & Camp Site Requests: Planning to share a room with another family or want to camp next to friends? Please e-mail Tom and we’re happy to accommodate you!

Pets: Well behaved dogs are welcome for attendees who are camping!  Dogs must remain on leash when around other people and pets, and we ask that you please clean up after your pet.
