Ian started as a cabin counselor in 2022, was the Assistant Program Director in 2023, and is so excited to return for his third summer as the Rainbow Trout Village Director. He’s originally from Chicago and loves spending his summers in the mountains of Colorado! When not in school for English Education, Ian loves going on backpacking trips with friends and trying to find the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. He’s looking forward to Singo night, popping into the ceramics tent, and seeing all of the faces of camp, old and new!

My name is Lydia! This is my first year at camp granite lake and I am a student at Ball State University studying Environmental Geosciences. I travel a lot mostly to North Carolina and the Great Lakes of Michigan and of course my second home the Smokey mountains in Tennessee. I have been rocking climbing for 3 years top, lead, and bouldering. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone, both staff and kiddos, and can’t wait to share the magic of the outdoors! Hi! My name is Carley and this will be my second year at CGL! I am from Indianapolis and I go to school in Bethany, West Virginia studying Communications. I am most looking forward to seeing all my camp friends again!

Hello, my name is Alicia and I’m from Columbus, Ohio. I’m currently a student at Ohio University studying Outdoor Recreation and Education. I love spending time in nature and enjoy hiking and kayaking. I’m very excited to meet the kids and have fun! 

Hi! My name is Ava, and this is my first year at Camp Granite Lake! I grew up in Montana, and I’m currently a student at CSU. I love backpacking, camping, and skiing, as well as anything to do with music! I am super excited for this summer, and I can’t wait to get outside!

Hey y’all! My name is Ben and this summer will be my first at Camp Granite Lake. I’m from New Milford, Connecticut and attend Southern Connecticut State University where I study communication. I am currently a drumline instructor at a local high school. I love music, the outdoors, and always being busy! I look forward to meeting the campers and having a memorable summer!

Hey! My name is Elise, and I’m so excited for my first summer at Camp Granite Lake! I’m from Flagstaff, AZ, and love doing all things outdoors. I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona, studying Speech Language, and Hearing sciences. Hi! My name is Evan and I am a new member of the Camp Granite Lake community. I’m from Southern California but I will be attending the University of Colorado School of Law this fall. I’m an avid enjoyer of tons of outdoor activities including (but not limited to) rock climbing, soccer, and hiking! I’m super excited to spend this summer at camp!

Hi, my name is Jude, and this will be my first summer at Camp Granite Lake. I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, but I currently live and study at Arizona State University. I love to hike, ski, canoe, and just generally get outdoors when I can. I’m so excited to spend the summer at this beautiful camp and experience all the joy that entails.

Hi! My name is Molly and I am from Rhode Island. I am studying Environmental Science at the University of New Hampshire and I am super excited to be at CGL this summer! I love anything and everything outdoors, skiing, going to the beach, and road trips (just to name a few). This will be my first time in Colorado so I am so excited and cannot wait to meet everyone!

Hello! My name is Savannah and this is going to be my first summer at Camp Granite Lake! I’m a second year student at Colorado State University where i’m studying Theater with a scenic design concentration. Im originally from Maryland but I moved to Colorado permanently at the start of my first year at CSU. I love camping, hiking, swimming, and especially rock climbing (I work at a climbing gym!). I also love to paint, make friendship bracelets, build things, and express my creativity. I’m so excited to make new friends and make some awesome memories this summer!
