We had an awesome thursday in the canyon; we began our day with some energetic morning songs, and then got sunscreened up before playing Scooby Doo! There was a “ghost” in the canyon that the campers had to help. To do so, they had to find clues scattered around the canyon and put them together to figure out what the ghost was missing. The campers succeeded, and found the ghost’s pet giraffe! After lunch, two groups hiked down to the cave, while the third group went bug catching and examined owl pellets. We finished off the day with some delicious gorp for snack and some awesome crazy sunglasses! We closed the day with some quieter afternoon songs, and then headed home on the bus! Tomorrow, we’re headed up to the Meadow for a fun day of kite flying! See you there!
