Today was the first (and hopefully the hottest!) day of session 3 and it was so nice meeting all the new faces. Each group had a chance to try their aim at the archery range, with many groups taking upwards of twelve shots! Although the heat could be overwhelming at times, we stayed cool by pouring water on each other, visiting the air-conditioned nature center, and staying in the shade throughout the day.
Every group also came up with their awesome cabin names, decorated their water bottle, and played name games so everyone within their group got to know each other! Tomorrow we are headed to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge for fishing day!
