The Boulder Juniors began their day by singing songs and playing partner tag to wake up and be energized for camp! We then each decorated our own water bottles and showed them to all of our new friends. Afterwards we took a bus ride up to NCAR, where we ate lunch in the shade and had play time of the roof patio. After play time, we all worked together to create our very own cabin name, the Starbright Starlight Charzard Bird Ninjas! Before we left NCAR, the Starbright Starlight Charzard Bird Ninjas looked at the cool weather exhibits and went on a short hike. When we got back we had story time, followed by our first Gorp snack. To wrap up the day, we played with bubbles and sang some closing songs. Great first day, Boulder Juniors!
