The AO Explorers spent a great day at the National Wildlife Refuge today! Everyone was a bit sleepy this morning after a long, but excellent day climbing Wally and swimming at F-15 yesterday, but were able to get the themselves going after singing the song “I Love The Mountains” in the round. We have been practicing this for the last few days and it has been really exciting to hear the song progress!
Explorers then split up into Cabin groups to practice skits, do team building, and in the case of the CIA group, make the first ever AO hike all the way around Lake Ladora!
Tomorrow we will close out session one at the Morrison Nature Center, returning to the Stapleton Green early so that we can fly our kites, make our cabin shields, and perform our skits!
