Tuesday, July 8th, the Explorers went to the National Wildlife Refuge. It started out as a cloudy day with a tornado siren test interrupting our Tarzan song, but it didn’t stop us from singing, we just sang louder! Throughout the day all of the Explorers had the chance to practice their fishing skills with Tom. When not fishing, Explorers built forts, went on hikes, played team building games, and made some creative crafts. To wrap up the day we ate pretzels and sang songs with Tom while he strummed his guitar! Overall it was a wonderful day to have fun in the outdoors!
