Before we begin, we would like you to understand and agree to some of the human resource policies that we have in place.
We require staff to be FULLY immunized (per state guidelines) before camp begins. Staff with medical exceptions will be allowed at camp with documentation from their physician. We are sorry, but personal exemptions will not be accepted. In 2023, this INCLUDES COVID vaccinations.

Providing delicious, nutritious food for our staff and campers is important to us, and we strive to accommodate a wide variety of diets. Our kitchen can accommodate: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, and nut-free diets. If you have an allergy or dietary preference that is a combination of, or outside of these parameters, please be sure to discuss it in the interview process or contact us before filling out an application.

Authorization for Background Checks
I authorize investigations of all statements herein, including any checks of criminal records, and release the camp and all others from liability in connection with those investigations. I understand that, if employed, I will be an at-will employee unless there is an agreement or law which alters that status. Furthermore, I understand that any agreement must be in writing and signed by a designated camp official. I also understand that misrepresentations or falsifications herein or in other documents completed or submitted by the applicant will result in dismissal, regardless of the date of discovery by the camp.

: Kitchen staff assist in all aspects of kitchen operation. Experience in a kitchen preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
: Counselors are the heartbeat of camp! They facilitate an inclusive, supportive cabin environment, and lead and assist in camp activities. It's a 24-hour a day job, and the hardest job you'll ever love!

We are inclusive
: We include campers of all abilities. Our staff receive training on how to work with campers with special needs.
: Our campers help choose parts of their schedules.

! We have actual program time devoted to good old fashioned play. Counselors facilitate play to ensure that play is inclusive and safe.
We don't compete
: You won't see color war, traditional sports with teams and balls, certificates of achievement or anything else like that. We do not offer extrinsic rewards of any type.

Our camp is a tobacco-free environment. Do you use tobacco?
No, I don't use tobacco.
We have a zero tolerance policy with respect to underage drinking. We also have a zero tolerance policy for marijuana use during the entire duration of employment, even with its legal recreational status in the state of Colorado. As a staff member, will abstaining from underage alcohol consumption or any use of marijuana be a problem for you?
No, this is not a problem.
