Today was climbing day in for Boulder Juniors! We started off the day with some all-camp songs and games before getting harnessed up and ready to climb. Climbing was fantastic! Every camper got to climb twice, and everyone did an excellent job.
After climbing we had lunch at a picnic table by the creek before hiking all the way to the Ranger Station. At the station we had a talk about fire safety and Smokey The Bear. By this time the weather was getting cloudy. It started to drizzle as we were walking toward the bus, and we made it out just before the rainstorm.
Back at Base Camp we had some quiet story time and learned about volcanos. Our day ended with some excellent snack. Get ready for tomorrow campers! We are going to NCAR!
