The second session of the AO Explorers got off to a great start yesterday at Morrison Nature Center. We kicked off the day with rules and orientation, followed by a great rendition of Tarzan and a game of ship shore. Campers spent the day making their water bottles, hiking, naming their cabin group, and developing their group code.

Today they ventured to the National Wildlife Refuge for a great day of fishing. Although we didn’t catch much, we learned how to cast and tie hooks, and saw some fish that other people had caught! The NWR is also a great place to dig forts, which each of the cabins took advantage of.

Tomorrow we will climb Wally and do team building at the Stapleton Green, before we swim at the F-15 pool.
