The Juniors and Explorers had an outstanding day at Barr Lake State Park today!

After playing “Riding the Bus” and singing “The Hippo Song” and “Little Red Wagon,” each group decorated their water bottles and they turned out great!

Junior Campers then ate lunch and we then went for a little trek and then visited the nature center.

Explorers, who now call themselves the Gods and Goddesses of Awesomeness also went on a 2.6 mile round trip trek to the gazebo for lunch. We saw a cool deer shading himself in the dry creek bed.

Once we finished our trek, we went back to the visitor’s center and played with costumes before having our end of day snack, creating our group code, and loading the bus to head home.
