This morning we got to embrace the cloudy weather by singing The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow and Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. We also did weather forecasts, such as “I feel really happy today, but a little tired, so my forecast is sunny with a little clouds.”
We played a quick game of Ship and Island again to get energized and ready for an awesome obstacle course! We spent a lot of time going through the obstacle course and had a ton of fun!
Before heading over the NCAR for lunch, we made bug masks. While at NCAR we took advantage of the inside weather exhibits and then had playtime. On the way to and from NCAR we got to see real coyotes running around the yard! We looked for a fox our bus driver saw but we couldn’t find it.
After arriving back and base camp, we played with bubbles and had story time and snack. We played a few more games like Four Corners and Who’s Missing before ending the day with the Spaghetti Song and final weather forecasts.
