We all hopped on the bus this morning up to Wondervu and started our day with songs “The Bear Song,” “Brown Squirrel,” Head and Shoulders,” and played a fun game getting to know our fellow campers using handshakes. The three groups of junior campers (The Sparkling JEMS Club, Mermaid Adventurers, and the Wildcat Adventures WX) ate our lunches in Crazy Creeks and then got to climb Wally, our rock wall! We all had such a wonderful time climbing up and then “coming down!” After the rock wall, we played with the large parachute as a group and then loaded back on the bus. When we returned to Whittier, we made pom-pom caterpillars and read a story about butterflies. We are so excited to head to the Mesa Trail tomorrow to hunt for butterflies!
