“Have you ever seen a penguin drinking tea???” We did! After our silly energizer songs this morning, we became the superheroes of the insect world with Ant Tag. Cabin groups then split up and went our separate ways. Archery was right on target and the hit of the day for most campers. Kites, hikes, and visiting the Barr Lake Nature Center were all a close second, and let’s not forget a few owl pellet dissections too. The sun was hot out today so shade and sunscreen were our friends prior to snack in the pavilion, and the bus ride home. Ask campers about the Adventures of Jimmy the Toaster, and don’t forget to bring a water bottle for our expedition to the National Wildlife Refuge tomorrow.
