Today was Altogether Outdoors Explorer’s first pool day of the summer! We started the day with some camp songs called “The Princess Pat” and “Little Red Wagon”. Then the groups took turns climbing the rock wall at the Vanguard School and all the campers did an amazing job! We also got to explore the ditch a bit behind the school and look for bugs. We then went to the pool and the campers enjoyed swimming, apples for snack time, and making lanyards! The Outdoors Group are becoming experts on lanyards after today and enjoyed teaching each other the pattern. The Moth Men, who came up with the name Spider Men today for their group, also did a wonderful job with their lanyards and really loved playing tag while swimming. It was a great day for the Explorers and the staff really enjoyed pool day as well!
