The Boulder Juniors started out today at Base Camp, where we sang Get Loose & What Can Make a Hippopotamus Smile? We played a game of Ship/Island and made our very own water bottles! They will sleep here during the week, so they’re nice and cold for each day. Ed picked us up in the bus and took us to Chatauqua. There, we ate lunch in the shade and played more games. We played Peanut Butter Reese’s Cup to help learn everyone’s name. We named our group: say hello to the Secret Water Slides! When we got back to base camp, we listened to some stories and played Sleeping Bunnies before free play and cooling off in the hose. At snack, we shared our roses and our thorns for the day. A lot of friends had no thorns because it was a great day! Stay cool and see you tomorrow.
